Overview
This exercise relies on online content for both Firefox and Maltego, and you will need to be prepared for both.
To complete the Firefox portion of the exercise, you will be using the HackSearch Pro add-on and the Shodan search engine. The results on both might be changed by future updates to the add-on or to third party websites.
To complete the Maltego exercise you will need to log into the application using an online account. The exercise gives instructions for registering a new account using a student email address, but alternatively the instructor can create accounts for students before class.
In this exercise, you’ll perform simple probes on a website based on public information.
