After completing this lab, you will be able to:

  • Use the ipconfig tool.

  • Modify network settings.

  • Run tracert.

  • Use graphical tracert.

  • Run netstat.

  • Verify zone transfers using nslookup.

  • Enable zone transfer.

  • View resource records using nslookup.

  • Run nslookup in non-interactive mode.

  • Test host reachability using pathping.

  • View and update the arp cache.

  • Use command line ping.

  • Create a reverse lookup zone.

  • Retry ping reverse lookup.

  • Download, install, and use graphical ping.

  • View the NetBIOS cache.

  • Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
