Securing a SOHO Network
Welcome to the Securing a SOHO Network theory Lab. In this module, you will be provided with information about a SOHO network.
This is a theory lab, there is not a virtual environment you need to start for this lab.
This module is important because our networks are not inherently safe. There are things that can be done to increase the safety of the network and decrease the likelihood of an attack on our network. We will focus on our SOHO environments in this module, but many of the same security concepts can be applied to larger organizations. We will learn about the different SOHO router settings to change and configure, as well as the different standards used for our wireless environments. We will cover what ports are and some common ones you will need to know.
