Remote Access Methods

Welcome to the Remote Access Methods Practice Lab. In this module, you will be provided with the instructions and devices needed to develop your hands-on skills.

When the remote access feature is enabled in the operating system, it allows users to interact with another computer as if they were sitting in front of it. Remote Desktop Protocol or RDP helps in productivity.

Remote Assistance and Quick Assist offer technicians the ability to help individuals who can be in the next room or across the country. With these tools, a technician can troubleshoot issues, install applications and do necessary maintenance from a centralized location, making it much more efficient.
