Learning Outcomes

In this module, you will complete the following exercises:

  • Exercise 1 - Manage Web and FTP Services
  • Exercise 2 - Manage Web and FTP Certificates

After completing this lab, you will be able to:

  • Use PowerShell to install Web Services (IIS) and FTP.
  • Configure a basic FTP server.
  • Verify connectivity with an FTP server.
  • Create self-signed certificate for IIS.
  • Bind self-signed certificate to web and FTP services.
  • Verify connectivity to web server using SSL.

  • Understand web services - IIS, WWW, FTP, installing from Server Manager, separate worker processes, adding components, sites, ports, SSL, certificates
