In this module, you will complete the following exercises:

  • Exercise 1 - Install Windows Server Core
  • Exercise 2 - Configure Windows Server 2016 Standard
  • Exercise 3 - Manage Windows Server Core

After completing this lab, you will be able to:

  • Create a New Virtual Machine
  • Install Windows Server 2016 Standard
  • Rename a Windows Server Core Computer
  • Assign Static IP Address and Preferred DNS Server
  • Add Server Core Computer to the Active Directory Domain
  • Verify Server Login to the Domain
  • Enable Windows Remote Management (WinRM) for Remote Administration
  • Install DNS Server and Configure a Secondary Zone on Server Core.
