<p>By completing the modules, you will improve your practical skills in configuring, maintaining and securing a Linux operating system. These same modules will help you understand the objectives and competencies required by the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam (XK0-005).</p>

<p>The CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-005) is an intermediate certificate aimed at IT Professionals wishing to validate their Linux skills or advance in their career.</p>

<p>These Skill Labs focuses on the practical aspects of the exam objectives to provide hands-on experience for preparation for the exam.  No prior hands-on experience is required to use or complete this Practice Lab. However, we assume that you know how to use a computer and that you are familiar with basic networking technologies and operating system management.</p>
